The ALFRA Grid Slide forms the heart of our component dosing and outloading systems. ALFRA grid slides are utilized for products (powders and granulates) with a wide range of material flowability.  They can easily be adapted to varying manufacturing environments by size, geometry, and material composition.  The ALFRA grid slide consists of two elements: a lower fixed grid mounted beneath an upper grid which moves in a horizontal back and forth motion during the dosing operation. The grid slide is controlled by a common actuator coupled with a moving frame.  Sensors ensure that the correct slide is selected and also measure the grid slide opening and stroke.
